Traditional Greek Meatballs Ingredients:
- 500 grams of ground beef
- 200 grams of bread crumb (without the crust)
- 150 ml sweet red wine
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1½ tablespoons of cumin
- Salt & Pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Flour for all uses
Tomato Sauce Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 large onion or 2 medium-sized onions, mashed
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- ½ cup sweet red wine
- 500 grams of diced tomato pulp (concassé)
- 1 cup of water
- Salt, pepper & sweet paprika
Traditional Greek Meatballs Cooking Instructions:
- 1. Slice the bread into pieces, then transfer it to a mixing bowl and pour in the red wine. Allow the bread to soak.
