During styling, clipper and trimmer blades move at high speeds in order to cut hair while sharpening their blades. WAHL maintenance products help prevent device overheating and minimizes potential damage during use. Ensure optimal device performance by following these simple steps below.

Step 1

The best way to clean your clipper or trimmer is to hold the device with the blades facing down. Remove any hairs, then clean it with a small brush.

Step 2

Before each use, pour 3 drops of blade oil on the front of each blade and one drop on each side. Always hold the device with the blades facing down.

Step 3

Turn your device on for a few seconds. The movement of the blades will distribute the oil evenly.

Step 4

Wipe off excess oil so it doesn't drip into the motor.

Taper Lever Tip

If your device is equipped with a taper lever, right after step 3, adjust the lever – changing the cutting positions – so that the oil is distributed across every surface.

EXTRA TIP

During styling, use your Blade Ice spray to remove any accumulated hairs and keep your clipper from overheating! Let it dry for a few minutes and continue to complete your style.
